Get Medieval in downtown Fergus.

Downtown Fergus is transformed into a Medieval Village on the Last Saturday in July (July 27, 2019).
The annual Fergus Medieval Faire is a FREE family event suitable for all ages. It is an outdoor interactive day that begins with a Royal Welcome from King Richard and his bride. Medieval re-enactors strolling about and being medieval. A designated kids entertainment area. Strolling musicians. A live falconer show with over 20 Bird of Prey. Viking Encampment and Viking Battlement Demonstration. Buskers, Archers, Medieval Merchants, Knights & Ladies. Spread through out historical downtown Fergus in the Saint Andrews Crossing district & along the Grand River Riverwalk.
The day closes with a Grand Medieval Feast followed by a Guided Ghost Walk. (Tickets will need to be purchased in advance for these two events).
The merchants of downtown Fergus get Medieval and host activities at their shoppes as well. A Guide & Map is made available at the Royal Welcome Centre in front of the library, downtown.
