This beloved annual event transforms St. Andrew Street West into a vibrant celebration of all things fibre. From fleece to finished project, there’s something for everyone—whether you’re a seasoned maker or simply fibre-curious.

Fibre Animals:
Meet the stars of the show—alpacas, sheep, and angora rabbits!

Live Entertainment:
Enjoy the sounds of local pipe bands and a roving piper adding Celtic flair to your festival stroll.

Demos & Displays:
Watch fibre magic unfold with live demonstrations including:

  • Flax-to-linen processing

  • Wool spinning and weaving

  • Lace making and more!

Scavenger Hunt:
Take part in our fun-filled scavenger hunt for your chance to win a fabulous door prize—a perfect activity for families and friends!

Food Trucks & Treats:
Refuel with delicious eats from local food trucks. Or grab a bite to eat at one of our fabulous cafes and restaurants

Marketplace:
Support local makers and shop for yarns, fibres, tools, notions, finished goods, and handmade treasures. With over 70 vendors, this is our BIGGEST year yet! (And don’t forget the sales at String Theory Yarn Shop!)

And best of all?
It’s entirely FREE—free entry, free parking, and a free shuttle service to and from the parking lot, so you can focus on enjoying the day.
