Get Medieval in downtown Fergus

Downtown Fergus is transformed into a Medieval Village on the last Saturday in July.

The annual Fergus Medieval Faire is a FREE family event suitable for all ages. It is an outdoor interactive day that begins with a Royal Welcome from King Richard and his bride. Medieval re-enactors strolling about and being medieval. A designated kids entertainment area. Strolling musicians. A live falconer show with over 20 Bird of Prey. Axe throwing, Magicians Way, Viking Encampment with Viking Battlement Demonstration. Buskers, Archers, Medieval Merchants, Knights & Ladies.

Spread through out historical downtown Fergus in the Saint Andrews Crossing district & along the Grand River Riverwalk.

Don’t miss the Grand Medieval Feast followed by a Guided Ghost Walk. (Tickets will need to be purchased in advance for these two events).

The merchants of downtown Fergus get Medieval and host activities at their shoppes as well. A Guide & Map is made available at the Royal Welcome Centre in front of the library, downtown.
